Brother Ali heads to Canada, collaborates with Gift of Gab

Rhymesayers has just released the second installment of its Fresh Air Tour video blog which is following Evidence and Brother Ali as they make their way across North America on their current tour. This video captures the the group as they head North of the border for shows up in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia. Along the way they get caught up in an underground Eskimo fight club, stumble upon a bootleg maple syrup distiller, and get into a verbal battle with fans over which country’s hockey teams are better. OK… none of that actually happened… but we do get to see the emcees checking out some really big trees; which I guess is pretty cool.

For those looking for some more Ali, he recently laid down a collaboration with Del The Funky Homosapien and Blackalicious frontman Gift of Gab for Gab’s forthcoming Escape 2 Mars LP. The single is now streaming on Gab’s MySpace page.
